CopperPoint to Hold Tucson Safety Expo for Businesses

TUCSON, Arizona - CopperPoint Insurance Companies, a leading provider of workers' compensation insurance, will hold its signature safety education event, Safety Works, at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson, Arizona, on Wednesday, August 23, 2017.

Safety Works 2017 Expo is a one-day symposium of educational seminars for employers, HR professionals, safety directors and employees. Seminars cover a broad array of topics in the safety, business practices and human resources fields.

Highlights of this year's Expo include classes on practical cyber security for small businesses, recognizing substance abuse in workers and employment practices liability, in addition to many other safety topics that can impact a company's bottom line.

"The opportunity for attendees to hear from experts on topics that are relevant to their safety programs is what makes Safety Works such an impactful event," said Scott Hullinger, Loss Control and Risk Management Director. "We hope our attendees leave the Expo more knowledgeable about safety and armed with tools and information to take back to their workplace. The real benefit is implementing change or improvements in their risk management programs."

Now in its 14th year, CopperPoint's Safety Works Expo began in 2003 and has grown into one of the largest safety events in the state. For registration and class information, visit copperpoint.com
