I’m excited to announce that Mike Sharr joined CopperPoint on August 8th as the Southwest Regional President, reporting directly to me.

Scott Chamoff, Associate Vice President Underwriting Southwest Region, and Alisha Vandewetering, Associate Vice President Underwriting Southwest Region will report to Mike.

Prior to joining CopperPoint, Mike held the role of Regional Vice President at Hanover Insurance where he was responsible for developing a long-term strategic vision for the Southwest Branch. His successful industry experience spans over 26 years in Underwriting, Sales, and Executive Leadership.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Law and Justice from Rowan University. He resides in Phoenix, Arizona with his wife Lana, his daughter Brooklyn, and their puppy Obi. In his downtime, you can find him hiking with his family, rock climbing with Brooklyn, or playing guitar.

We’re looking forward to welcoming Mike to our leadership team and know his vast experience within the industry will add tremendous value to the CopperPoint family.
