At CopperPoint, our policyholders are at the heart of everything we do. We’re here to partner with you and our policyholders to ensure the safety and protection of their workplace and workers.
That’s why we’re inviting our CopperPoint construction policyholders to sign up for our virtual, complimentary, OSHA 10-Hour Construction Course. This course offers important safety information and real-life scenarios to increase awareness on the worksite.
This two-day course on March 4 & 5, 2026, will cover such topics as:
- Introduction to OSHA
- Electrocutions, fall protection, struck-by and caught in/between injuries
- The importance of employee safety training in the workplace
- Specific concerns and real-life situations
- How to increase safety awareness within the workplace/jobsite
The course also provides proof of completion if required by your employer. Please note that some states require the completion of 10-hour OSHA construction training.
Attendees are limited to 40 total, 5 attendees* per policyholder please.
*Additional policyholder attendees may attend if space is available

Tips to ensure a smooth virtual training:

Each participant must have their own computer or device.

Ensure your computer (laptop, tablet, desktop) has camera capabilities and microphone. Please have the appropriate power cords to power your device all day.
- It is mandatory for you to be at a stationary site. You are not allowed to be in a vehicle, driving and/or talking on your phone while participating during class.
- Each day, Students should log on to Zoom 15 minutes early.

On the first day of class, be prepared to show government issued photo identification. This is required.
Requirements from the OSHA Training Institute for live video conferencing classes:

Per OSHA’s guidelines for live-online classes, students are required to have video capabilities and must be visible at all times to the instructor and facilitator during the class.

Students are required to maintain the same level of focus as they would in a traditional classroom setting, refraining from engaging in other activities.

Breaks will be provided. (and a lunchbreak on Wednesday, March 4).

Unfortunately, if a student cannot comply with these requirements, they will not be able to attend the class. Students are required to attend all days and times in order to receive a course completion student card.
