Interactive Health recognizes workers compensation insurer for wellness, health programs
PHOENIX, AZ - CopperPoint Insurance Companies has been named one of the Healthiest Companies in America for 2015 by Interactive Health. The award is given to companies who have improved the overall health of their employees and made it a part of the corporate culture. This is the third time CopperPoint has won this award.
CopperPoint is one of three Arizona companies to win out of the 154 companies across the country being recognized for helping employees making changes to improve their health in 2015.
The Healthiest Companies in America recipients are recognized for utilizing strategic and flexible wellness initiatives to achieve participation rates in excess of 70 percent and a low-risk health score for their total population, based on health evaluations, according to Interactive Health.
Employees at CopperPoint have access to a variety of wellness programs from an online walking program and on-site weight loss programs to chair massages. Employees can also choose from a diverse selection of on-site wellness classes such as yoga, cardio, tai chi, and Zumba.
CopperPoint also offers classes focused on emotional wellness, such as drawing meditation, virtual travel and inspiring webinars on a variety of topics. Employees can also schedule time with an onsite health coach to develop a personalized health plan.
