Businesses that meet specific size and industry criteria are required to electronically submit their injury and illness data using OSHA Form 300A, 300, and 301 (or equivalent forms) once a year to OSHA. The submission period starts on January 2, and the deadline is March 2, 2026. |

California–specific Requirements
Effective this year, new requirements for workplaces include:
- SB-20 high-exposure trigger tasks on artificial stone. Includes ban on dry methods, electronic submission of employee training beginning 7/1/2026 and annually thereafter
- Confined Spaces in Construction Includes competent person expanded responsibilities, immediate rescue available at the site, ongoing evaluation and communication required for new or discovered/created confined spaces
- COVID-19 recordkeeping subsection expired date 2/3/2026
