Regulation Updates

Water, Rest, Shade. – Acclimatization and Emergency Preparedness

OSHA updated their National Emphasis Program (NEP) to protect employees from heat-related hazards in outdoor and indoor workplaces. This program is in effect nationwide for the next 5 years. To monitor the Heat Index for outdoor exposures, the OSHA-NIOSH Heat Tool is available in English and Spanish for Android and iPhone devices: https://www.osha.gov/heat/heat-app
