    Mike Leal is the AVP Large Accounts, Underwriting for CopperPoint Insurance Companies. His journey with the CopperPoint family began in 2023, bringing with him an impressive 35 years of workers’ compensation insurance experience, with 20 of those years spent in management and leadership roles for regional and national carriers.

    As a leader in the large account underwriting division, Mike is responsible for mentoring and guiding the team. His efforts are focused on servicing accounts with a premium of 500k+ and fostering trust and positive working relationships with CopperPoint agency partners.

    When Mike isn’t working, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and cheering for his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys. 

    Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in business management.

    Water, Rest, Shade. – Acclimatization and Emergency Preparedness
    Heat

    OSHA updated their National Emphasis Program (NEP) to protect employees from heat-related hazards in outdoor and indoor workplaces.

    This program is in effect nationwide for the next 5 years.
