SMS TEXT MESSAGING SERVICE TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR COPPERPOINT INSURANCE COMPANY, ITS SUBSIDIARIES AND AFFILIATES INCLUDING, PACIFIC COMPENSATION INSURANCE COMPANY, AND ALASKA NATIONAL INSURANCE COMPANY (COLLECTIVELY “COPPERPOINT”, “We”, “US”)

By enrolling in the SMS Text Messaging Service, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions, below. These terms and conditions are subject to change, without notice, at CopperPoint's sole discretion. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, DO NOT ENROLL IN THE TEXT MESSAGING SERVICE OR, IF ENROLLED, OPT-OUT IMMEDIATELY.

  • By using this Service, you are consenting to send and receive text messages to and from CopperPoint.
  • This is a subscription-based Service. Participation in the Service is not required and is completely voluntary.
  • Subject to the terms and conditions of your mobile carrier, you may receive text messages sent to your mobile phone.
  • Message and data rates may apply. Any charges for sending and receiving texts, per the terms of your wireless plan, will appear on your wireless bill.
  • This text messaging Service is for your personal, private use only.
  • We use a third party to provide this SMS messaging Service. By using the Service, you have agreed to their terms and conditions.
  • Text messages are intended to be between you and Us, however We do not guarantee that the messages are encrypted. You accept that each text message may not be encrypted.
  • By enrolling in this text messaging Service, you confirm that you are the subscriber to the phone number provided to Us or that you are the customary user of that phone number on a family or business plan and that you are authorized to enroll and receive texts from this text messaging Service.
  • You consent to providing information to Us using this Service and to the creation of an electronic record to document that information.
  • You agree that the content you provide through this text messaging Service is owned by you and will not infringe on anyone’s intellectual property rights.
  • By using the Service, you agree that you will not use the Service for any illegal purpose, interfere with any security related feature of the Service, or perform any fraudulent activity.
  • You certify that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age or were authorized to enroll and receive texts by your parent or legal guardian.
  • Use of the text messaging Service may be monitored and recorded; by enrolling in this Service, you consent to such monitoring and recording.
  • Text messaging is effective as soon as you complete the enrollment process.
  • Receipt of each text message may be delayed or prevented by factors affecting your mobile carrier and/or other factors outside of our control. COPPERPOINT WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR LOSSES OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM (A) NON-DELIVERY, DELAYED DELIVERY, OR MISDIRECTED DELIVERY OF A TEXT MESSAGE; (B) INACCURATE OR INCOMPLETE CONTENT IN A TEXT MESSAGE; OR (C) YOUR USE OR RELIANCE ON THE CONTENTS OF ANY TEXT MESSAGE FOR ANY PURPOSES.

We reserve the right to terminate this text messaging Service, in whole or in part, at any time without notice. The information in any text message may be subject to certain time lags and/or delays.

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COPPERPOINT DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SMS SERVICE. THE SMS TEXT MESSAGING SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

COPPERPOINT DISCLAIMS ANY SUCH WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. THIS TEXT MESSAGING SERVICE COULD CONTAIN INACCURACIES, ERRORS, OR MIGHT NOT FUNCTION IN THE MANNER ANTICIPATED.

HOW TO OPT-OUT

To stop receiving text messages under this Service, send STOP within the current texting conversation. By doing so, your cell phone will be un-enrolled from the Service.

You will receive a standard rate message confirming your unenrollment.
