PHOENIX, Arizona - CopperPoint Insurance Companies has been named one of the Healthiest Companies in America for 2016 by Interactive Health. The award is given to companies who have improved the overall health of their employees and made it a part of the corporate culture. This is the fourth time CopperPoint has won this award.

CopperPoint is one of only five Arizona companies to receive this award out of 156 companies across the country being recognized for helping employees making changes to improve their health in 2016.

PHOENIX, Arizona - LP Insurance Services, headquartered in Reno, Nevada, and Mountain West Agency Services, a subsidiary of CopperPoint Insurance Companies, presented a joint donation of $10,000 in 'milk money' to the St. Vincent's Dining Room at Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada. Additionally, 1,000 bottles of milk were donated and served to the families during lunchtime following the check presentation.

PHOENIX, Arizona - On January 13 CopperPoint Insurance Companies' employee Matthew Tucker, Policy Call Center Rep, received the Big Brother of the Year, Site-Based Award from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona at its annual volunteer recognition dinner at Rustler's Rooste in Phoenix.

Matthew and his "Little Brother" Daniel, a fifth-grader at Heard, have been matched for two years. "I gained a friend in Daniel. He is such a great kid; he's smart, a bit of a comedian and full of life," despite the issues he has faced.

CopperPoint donated 700 backpacks filled with school supplies to Edison Elementary

PHOENIX, AZ - CopperPoint Insurance Company volunteers recently donated over 700 backpacks to the students of Edison Elementary School to kick off the school year. Every student in the K-8 school received a backpack filled with supplies such folders, notebooks, pencils, scissors and a ruler. Volunteers were accompanied by the Phoenix Sun's Gorilla.

Stephen Tully, LoriAnn Lowery-Biggers and former company CEO Don Smith were re-elected to the board by members of the mutual organization. CopperPoint's Board of Directors manages the strategic direction of the workers compensation insurance company. Survey & Ballot Systems, an independent election administrator, conducted the voting process.

PHOENIX, AZ - CopperPoint Mutual Insurance Company announced it will pay out safety dividends totaling $2.8 million for 2015 to qualified policyholders. It is the 46th consecutive year the company's Board of Directors approved a dividend payment.

The leading provider of workers compensation insurance began its safety dividends program in 1969, and since that time has returned more than $1.5 billion to qualified policyholders who maintain safe workplaces.
