PHOENIX, Arizona - LP Insurance Services, headquartered in Reno, Nevada, and Mountain West Agency Services, a subsidiary of CopperPoint Insurance Companies, presented a joint donation of $10,000 in 'milk money' to the St. Vincent's Dining Room at Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada. Additionally, 1,000 bottles of milk were donated and served to the families during lunchtime following the check presentation.

PHOENIX, Arizona - On January 13 CopperPoint Insurance Companies' employee Matthew Tucker, Policy Call Center Rep, received the Big Brother of the Year, Site-Based Award from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona at its annual volunteer recognition dinner at Rustler's Rooste in Phoenix.

Matthew and his "Little Brother" Daniel, a fifth-grader at Heard, have been matched for two years. "I gained a friend in Daniel. He is such a great kid; he's smart, a bit of a comedian and full of life," despite the issues he has faced.

Best, the most widely recognized provider of insurance industry ratings and financial data, has reaffirmed CopperPoint Mutual Group's A- (Excellent) rating with a "stable outlook" for both financial strength and credit rating.

CopperPoint donated 700 backpacks filled with school supplies to Edison Elementary

PHOENIX, AZ - CopperPoint Insurance Company volunteers recently donated over 700 backpacks to the students of Edison Elementary School to kick off the school year. Every student in the K-8 school received a backpack filled with supplies such folders, notebooks, pencils, scissors and a ruler. Volunteers were accompanied by the Phoenix Sun's Gorilla.

PHOENIX, AZ - CopperPoint Mutual Insurance Company has announced three members of its Board of Directors were re-elected.

Stephen Tully, LoriAnn Lowery-Biggers and former company CEO Don Smith were re-elected to the board by members of the mutual organization. CopperPoint's Board of Directors manages the strategic direction of the workers compensation insurance company. Survey & Ballot Systems, an independent election administrator, conducted the voting process.
